MAJ Christopher Johnson hails from Chester, New Jersey. He graduated from the United States Military Academy with the class of 2013 and commissioned as an Infantry Officer. Following completion of Infantry Basic Officer Leader Course and Ranger School at Fort Benning, MAJ Johnson was assigned to the 1st BN, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment at Fort Bragg, NC. He served as a Rifle Platoon Leader and Air Operations Officer, supporting multiple Global Response Force and Joint Readiness Training Center rotations and earning his Master Jumpmaster and Senior Parachutist qualifications. Following the Maneuver Captains’ Career Course, he was assigned to the 4th BN, 23rd Infantry Regiment at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, where he earned his Expert Infantryman’s Badge and served as a Stryker Rifle Company Commander. Following company command, he served as the Deputy Director of the Stryker Warfighter Forum and earned a Master of Science in Kinesiology from the University of North Carolina- Greensboro.
