Major Gordon is a senior instructor and has taught courses in General Chemistry (CH101) and General Biology (CH275), as well as guest lectured lessons in the Genetics course (CH388). Major Gordon is currently the Assistant Course Director for CH275. After earning a B.S. in human biology from the University at Albany (SUNY) in 2013, he commissioned as a field artillery officer. His Army experience has primarily been in the tactical employment of the M777 and M119 light howitzers in support of light infantry brigade combat teams, with operational deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. He has also received a master’s in healthcare administration from the University of Scranton and a M.S in biomedical forensic science from Boston University. Major Gordon is also the CLS Dept’s recruiting officer; with responsibility for recruiting prospective faculty applicants, as well as advising newly selected CLS faculty on the Army’s Advanced Civil Schooling program process.
