MAJ Devon Compeau

MAJ Devon Compeau was born in Detroit, MI. He is an Engineer Officer and Instructor in the Department of Systems Engineering. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy, a Master’s of Science in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology, and a Master’s of Science in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.

MAJ Compeau served as a Platoon Leader and Executive Officer in the 15th Engineer Battalion in Grafenwoehr, Germany. While stationed in Germany, MAJ Compeau completed NATO construction missions in Germany, Estonia, Poland and the Republic of Georgia. After completing Engineer Captain Career Course at Fort Leonard Wood, MO., MAJ Compeau then served as a battalion training officer in the 11th Engineer Battalion, Camp Humphreys, South Korea. MAJ Compeau then took command of the 814th Multi-Role Bridge Company from 2020-2021. MAJ Compeau is a graduate of Sapper School, Airborne School, Air Assault School and the Joint Engineer Operations Course.

In June 2023, MAJ Compeau joined the faculty of the Department of Systems Engineering at the United States Military Academy. 

MAJ Compeau is married to Emmy Compeau. They have three daughters, Jane (5 years), Lucy (5 years) and Grace (3 years).
