Dr. Dhyaa Kafagy

Dhyaa Kafagy, Ph.D., P.E., CSWP, is an accomplished biomedical engineer and research scientist with over 20 years of experience in teaching, research, and development. With expertise in biomedical technologies, mechanical engineering, and additive manufacturing, Dhyaa has led interdisciplinary teams, managed complex projects, and driven innovation in healthcare. As an assistant professor at Wentworth Institute of Technology and through various academic roles, he has contributed significantly to curriculum development and research in biomedical engineering. 

Dhyaa holds a Ph.D. in mechanical and materials Engineering from the University of Tulsa and is recognized for his proficiency in engineering software and hands-on experience in 3D printing and materials characterization. He is passionate about leveraging technology to improve healthcare outcomes and enhance engineering education.
