MAJ Gregory Hurlock was commissioned as a second lieutenant in 2012 upon graduation from the United States Military Academy with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He served as a Platoon Leader in Delta and Alpha Companies, 1st Battalion, 82nd Aviation Regiment (ARB) where he deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Freedom's Sentinel. Afterwards, he served as the Battalion S-1 for 1-82 ARB prior to attending the career course. Upon arrival to Fort Carson, he served as a Battalion Assistant S-3 for 4th Battalion, 4th Aviation Regiment (ARB). He then took command of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 4-4 ARB and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. Once back at Fort Carson, he took command of Bravo Company, 4-4 ARB. MAJ Hurlock is a graduate of the Aviation Officer Basic Course, the Aviation Captain's Career Course, AH-64D/E Qualification Course, Air Cav Leader's Course and Airborne School.
