
Colonel Jed Richards is an IMA reservist in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at West Point. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (USMA 2001) and in S.M. in System Design and Management (MIT, 2010). His research interests include modeling and simulation of autonomous military systems and applications of digital engineering for defense acquisition. In his civilian capacity, he is an operations research analyst in the Institute for Systems Engineering Research (ISER) at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC).
Jed is married to Cy Richards and they have three children, Josh, Coby and Mitch.
