Dr. Joel Jebb

Dr. Joel Jebb was born in Miami, Florida, and later moved to Sarasota, Florida. He graduated from USMA in 1982 as an armor officer and spent the second half of his Army career teaching at the USMA Dept. of English; he has a Masters from Duke University in philosophy and a Ph.D from Columbia University in English education. Dr. Jebb has taught in USMAPS English since 2010 and has been the department head since 2014. His wife, Cindy, is his West Point classmate,  and they have three adult children, Ben, Alex, and Olivia. ​
