Dr. Lynn M. Messina

Lynn was born and raised in Queens, NY, and has lived her whole life in New York City. Above all things, she loves books, baseball (Let's go Mets!), her family and friends, and going to the theater and art museums--though not necessarily in that order. She belongs to a wine club and a book group and is on a mission to go to all 30 Major League baseball stadiums (25 down, 5 to go!). Lynn started out intending to be a high school English teacher but changed direction when her college professors encouraged her to get her PhD. After teaching college English for 10 years, she left academia for the publishing world, where she has enjoyed working in both the editorial and production sides of the industry making educational books.
