
Major Meghan Oroho, a native of Clearwater, Florida, graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in International and Comparative Legal Studies and commissioned as a Military Intelligence Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. Assigned to Fort Liberty and the 82nd Airborne Division, MAJ Oroho first served as an assistant S2 in 2-508th PIR, 2BCT. While with 2BCT, MAJ Oroho also held leadership roles as the Information Collection Platoon Leader and the Brigade Intelligence Support Element OIC in 1-73rd CAV. She deployed with 2BCT in support of Operation Inherent Resolve in 2017 as the 2BCT Brigade Collection Manager. In Hawaii, MAJ Oroho served as the 500th Military Intelligence Brigade Assistant Brigade Operations Officer and Company Commander of Alpha Company, 205th MI Battalion providing direct single-source analytical intelligence support to the USARPAC G2. MAJ Oroho completed her MBA studies at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in 2023 with a concentration in Strategy. MAJ Oroho is currently a PL300 Instructor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Her military awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, and the Army Achievement Medal. She is a graduate of Airborne School, Air Assault School, Information Collection Planners Course, and Army Space Cadre Basic Course. MAJ Oroho and her husband, James, met while they were both Second Lieutenants at Fort Liberty. They enjoy spending time outdoors and traveling with their children and dog, Thor.
