Dr. Michael "Misha" Novitzky graduated with honors from the Colorado College with a B.A. in Psychology in 2003. Dr. Novitzky's trajectory changed when he was introduced to robots and was admitted to the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in 2006. During his tenure at Georgia Tech, he earned a Masters in Computer Science (2009), a Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering (2014), and finally a Ph.D. in Robotics (2015). While at Georgia Tech, Dr. Novitzky was funded by the Georgia Tech Research Institue (GTRI) which is the applied side of Georgia Tech. He was fortunate to work with robots that fly, drive, and swim! Dr. Novitzky's Ph.D. focused on multi-robot teams communicating in RF denied environments through the use of movement as signals.
