On Tuesday morning, a slab of rock along the rock wall on Williams Road, the road behind Taylor and Mahan Halls near the train station at South Dock, fell into the road.
Luckily, there was no damage to the vehicles parked near the slide or anyone hurt by the debris.
The Military Police was on the scene to block off the road until the Directorate of Public Works engineering crew came to successfully move out the rock.
As it stands, there will be no restriction of traffic, but nine parking slots are closed at this time on Williams Road.
DPW engineers checked the stability of the rock wall to make sure it was stable enough for continued foot and vehicle traffic through the area and they gave an all clear for continued use.
For everyone who uses the road, remain vigilant and cautious of your surroundings to remain safe.
