About 40 children from the West Point Strong Beginnings pre-kindergarten class graduated June 3 at the Stony Lonesome Child Development Center.
It was a joyous day as friends and family congregated to watch the event, which was split into two graduation ceremonies.
During the year, the young students learned how to recognize letters and numbers, write their name properly, and identify leaves from different tree species.
They also had fun learning to make pillows out of old T-shirts using a sewing machine. The pre-kindergartner’s will be attending kindergarten this upcoming fall.
