Superintendent addresses workforce, recognizes service with awards

Staff and faculty gathered to attend the Superintendent’s address to the workforce and award ceremony Aug. 10 at Robinson Auditorium.

During the event, the Superintendent, Lt. Gen. Steven W. Gilland, addressed work-related topics to the ongoing construction projects, parking and distinguishing West Point from other academic institutions as being more than just a university.

The event kicked off with a musical performance from the West Point Band followed by staff members receiving awards for their persistent commitment to support West Point and embody the motto: Duty, Honor, Country.
