The West Point Band’s field music group, The Hellcats, marched the U.S. Military Academy Class of 2026 into Trophy Point Amphitheater on Saturday for West Point’s annual Independence Day celebration.

The 61st Superintendent of the U.S. Military Academy, Lt. Gen. Steven Gilland, addressed the new cadets and audience before introducing Lt. Col. Tod Addison and Lt. Col. Daniel Toven for the West Point Bandʼs official change of command ceremony.

The evening finished with a fireworks display to the bandʼs pre-recorded music.
