The West Point Fire Department (WPFD) is hosting its 2023 Open House from 4-7 p.m. Oct. 11 at H Lot, 1204 Commissary Road.
The WPFD firemen will provide activities to include a kids firefighting obstacle course with firefighter gear, fire extinguisher training, poster contest winners announcement, bounce house, fire truck displays, cornhole/bean bag toss and dunk a firefighter. There will also be demonstrations involving vehicle extrication, stove fire extinguishing (video), smoke trailer simulator and fire extinguisher training.
The event will have a special guest appearance by Sparky. Attendees will also receive a complimentary hot dog and water.
