Army-Navy Patriot Games And Special Operations Events

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The public is invited to join in the festivities prior to the Black Knights battling the Navy Midshipmen during the 123rd Army-Navy game on Saturday, Dec. 10 at Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, Pa.

The annual Patriot Games held at multiple locations throughout Philadelphia feature challenging competitions between Army and Navy prior to the big game. Cadets from West Point will face off against the midshipmen from the Naval Academy to put their strength and endurance to the test. In addition to the competitions, there will be a pep rally, team mascots, cheer leaders, and pep bands. Those with games tickets can also catch the final round of the Patriot Games, an obstacle relay inside Lincoln Financial Field before kickoff on Saturday.

Additionally, the U.S. Army’s Special Operations Command will offer an opportunity to “Meet a Special Operations Soldier” from the 75th Ranger Regiment at its military static display at Lincoln Financial Field on Dec. 9 and 10.

Soldiers in the 75th Ranger Regiment are the U.S. Army Special Operations Command’s premier, light infantry force, which provides a specially trained, rapidly deployable, agile, flexible, and tailorable force to perform demanding and sensitive missions.

Friday, Dec. 9

     Rocky Relay: Philadelphia Museum of Art Staircase at 8:30 a.m.

     Leadership Reaction Course: Independence Visitor’s Center at 10 a.m.

     Pep Rally and Pull-Up Challenge: Liberty Place at 12 p.m.

     Tug of War: Battleship New Jersey at 1:30 p.m.

     “Meet a Special Operations Soldier” Lincoln Financial Field from 1 – 3 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 10

     Stadium Obstacle Relay: Lincoln Financial Field at 1:15 p.m.

     “Meet a Special Operations Soldier” Lincoln Financial Field from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
