U.S. Military Academy Board of Visitors to Hold Meeting

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Board of Visitors of the U.S. Military Academy will conduct its summer meeting on Friday, July 26 at 9 a.m. at Barth Hall on Camp Buckner. The meeting will be in-person. The board will receive updates on various Academy issues. 

The USMA Board of Visitors is a federal advisory committee appointed under the provision of Section 7455 of Title 10 and the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972.  The Board provides independent advice and recommendations to the President of the United States on matters related to morale and discipline, curriculum, instruction, physical equipment, fiscal affairs, and academic methods. The board consists of presidential appointees and members of Congress.
