West Point Events Open to Community

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The community is invited to visit historic West Point and enjoy the variety of open events this Labor Day weekend. On Friday, Aug. 30, there will be several events in conjunction with the football game taking place on the parade ground:

• 2:45 p.m. the Cadet Parachute Team performs

• 3 p.m. the 82nd Airborne Division Chorus performs

• 3:15 p.m. The U.S. Corps of Cadets will conduct a review

• 3 p.m. Black Knight Alley opens at Michie Stadium.

• 6 p.m. Army West Point Black Knights vs Rice Owls.

Saturday

• 6 p.m. Army West Point Volleyball vs New Hampshire at Gillis Filed House.

• 7 p.m. Men’s Soccer vs Air Force at Malek Stadium.

Sunday

• 11 a.m. Army West Point Volleyball vs Rhode Island at Gillis Field House.

• 1 p.m. Women’s Soccer vs LIU at Malek Stadium.

• 7:30 p.m. The West Point Band will conclude the “Music Under the Stars” concert series with its annual Labor Day Celebration at Trophy Point Amphitheater.

Monday

• 7:30 p.m. in the event of inclement weather Sunday, The West Point Band will conclude the “Music Under the Stars” concert series with its annual Labor Day Celebration at Trophy Point Amphitheater.

Visitors will be required to check in at the Visitor Control Center to be issued local access credentials to gain entry to the installation on non-football days.
