Rebecca grew up in a small town in Wisconsin and always dreamed of traveling around the world. Since joining the West Point faculty in 2007, she has traveled to Portugal, the Azores, Madeira, Brazil, Cape Verde, Mozambique, East Timor, Macau, and Spain as part of her official duties.
