Sandhurst 2025 Events - Day 1

Tactical Combat Casualty Care
Teams execute an obstacle course on a flat-turf field to reach, conduct basic care of, and evacuate multiple casualties under fire.

Grenade Assault Course
A 3-cadet group races to a location where each cadet throws 2 M67 practice grenades at near, middle, and far distance targets. The group then drags a weighted sled to the start and tags the next group of 3. The event ends when the 3rd and final group crosses the finish line.

Zodiac
Seven team members start the event with the boat while the remaining two cadets are positioned at different points across the reservoir. The teams race to pick up their two cadets, then carry the Zodiac boats back to the starting location.

CBRN Proficiency
The team dons gas masks and four members don MOPP gear to standard. The team races to select two cards describing military knots and ties the knots to standard. Teams exchange the MOPP gear, employ a simulated claymore mine to standard, and race back to the start.

Communications
A completed LEGO puzzle is placed at one end of a football field. Puzzle pieces are placed at the other side and center of the field. A group of three cadets at each location must communicate via radio to complete the puzzle. Once the puzzle is completed, the whole team crosses the finish line.

Weapons Assembly
In a relay-race-style event, teams carry kettlebells to the end of the field and back to assemble and disassemble the following weapons: M17, M4, M249, M240. Time ends upon the last competitor crossing the finish line.

Functional Fitness
Four stations are set up on a turf field: the 20-pound medicine ball toss, heavy-weighted sled drag, wheelbarrow walk, and bar pullovers event. Teams have 20 minutes to accumulate as many points as possible by participating in any event they choose. Teams are not required to have competitors at each station.

M17 Marksmanship
Teams have one minute to engage a 10-meter target with 30 rounds. Teams accumulate points for scoring hits in three zones on a standard silhouette target.
Sandhurst 2025 Events - Day 2

Land Navigation
Teams of 2 executed a night land navigation course with the assistance of PVS-14 Night Vision Devices. Teams had to locate 9 points within 2 hours.

Obstacle Course
Teams of 9 competed navigating various obstacles while carrying a weighted stretcher. The event ends when the final competitor crosses the finish line.

Rifle Marksmanship
Teams of 9 begin the event running along a road for an unknown distance to a firing point, where the teams stage two 15-round magazines of 15 rounds. Cadets have 90 seconds to engage targets at varying distances up to 300m.

Call for Fire & Machine Gun Employment
Three members of a 7-person team conduct simulated artillery fire while communicating with a Fire Detection Center over radio. The remaining four members conduct marksmanship using M249 and M240.

Crucible
Carrying heavy equipment, teams race to a High Mobility Multi-Wheeled Vehicle, drop the equipment in the back, and push the vehicle roughly 25m. Teams then race to a high-crawl obstacle course, negotiate the obstacles, and throw a grenade into a simulated enemy position. The event ends when one team member charges the enemy position and stabs a silhouette with a bayonet.
