West Point To Host Military Tattoo
WEST POINT, N.Y. – The U.S. Military Academy will host its 38th Military Tattoo at 12 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, on the Plain.
This tattoo brings together numerous performance groups, both civilian and military, to pay homage to the rich military traditions of Pipes and Drums. The event will feature the U.S. Corps of Cadets Pipes and Drums, Hudson Valley Regional Police, New Jersey State Police Pipes and Drums, the West Point Band Hellcats, and more than 10 bands and dance groups from the Hudson Valley. The tattoo will conclude with a “mass bands” event at 4:45 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public. All visitors should enter the installation via Thayer Gate, located in Highland Falls, New York. Proper identification will be required upon entering academy grounds, and all vehicles are subject to search.
