WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point women's swimming & diving standout Aurelie Migault and wrestling All-American Ben Pasiuk were the recipients of the Army Athletic Association (AAA) Award at the 2024 Awards Convocation and Superintendent's Awards for Excellence and Achievement and Distinguished Cadet Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 23. The AAA trophy is awarded annually to the male and female cadet-athletes who display the "most valuable service to intercollegiate athletics during a career as a cadet." This year marks the 119th anniversary of the AAA Award, which was first presented to football's Horatio Hackett in 1904. Kayley Ragazzini, from women's track and field, received the Special Award. The Army Athletic Association Special Award is not awarded on an annual basis, but only presented when a worthy candidate arises. The Special Award is presented to a cadet-athlete for "exhibiting outstanding achievement and exemplary leadership in athletic competition." The last time, the Special Award was given out was in 2021 (Tyrese Bender, Men's Track & Field). Migault, from Coppell, Texas took home a ton of wins during her season en route to First-Team All-Patriot League honors including: 100 breast champion (1:01.21), 200 breast champion (2:11.20), 800 free relay champion (7:10.60), 400 free relay champion (3:19.37), 200 medley relay runner-up (1:40.21), 400 medley relay runner-up (3:37.47) and 200 IM third-place (1:59.65). She was a two-time First Team All-Patriot League Selection and once to the second team during her four-year career. Pasiuk, from Carrollton, Ohio secured All-American status this season at the NCAA Wrestling Championships becoming the first All-American from Army since 2008, when Matt Kyler finished sixth in the 141lb bracket. Earlier in the season, he had a second-place finish at the EIWA Championships. Pasiuk was a four-time NCAA qualifier in his career. He posted a career record of 82-26. Ragazzini was a three-time Patriot League Champion in shot put, while also serving as the Brigade SAAC Officer for the Corps of Cadets this past season.
